Following the success and feedback from the previous digital audio described broadcast events, this December you’ll be able to experience this ballet in the comfort of your own living room.

The Royal New Zealand Ballet (RNZB) in collaboration with Audio Described Aotearoa is delighted to present a FREE audio described live broadcast of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

The performance lasts 110 minutes, plus 10 minutes of exclusive behind the scenes content.

While it’s a free viewing, registration is essential. Available to watch online from Thursday 9 December (9am) until – Sunday 12 December (midnight), 2021 (NZST)

Written introductory notes will be available on the website closer to the date. The notes will provide you with vital information about the costumes, set and lighting and give you background information about the performances.

While it’s free viewing, everyone has to register to access the audio described ballet.
